Podcast interview with Dave from "Throwdown"

Throwdown is a metal band out of Orange County. They have existed in many forms since the 90's and in their current form for the last several years. They have a versatile style of metal that draws comparisons to Slipknot and Sepultura, among others. Next week their latest release, “Deathless” hits stores. (See the all things heavy column for a review of that album). They will be supporting the album with a tour of smaller Cities, being backed by Bury Your Dead.

Today I spoke with lead singer Dave about all things Throwdown. You will find that Dave is intelligent, insightful and colorful. He has a unique and interesting take, noting that “music should inspire thought, not require it.”
