After playing phone tag for a couple of weeks, I recently caught up with Serpent Underground front man Ralph Buso. It turned out to be well worth the wait. Ralph was not like any metal singer I've ever met. He had an honesty and wisdom about him that I found refreshing and insightful. After a good 20 minutes talking with him, I came away not only knowing a lot about him and his band, but about the music world in general, the business and what it takes for a band to come together.
